Able-Spin DDA Compliant Roundabout

One of Mant Leisure’s new DDA (Disability Discrimination Act ) compliant Able-Spin Roundabouts was installed in Millmarsh Park in Bovey Tracey last month.

The Able-Spin roundabout is 2 meters in diameter and the placing of the rotating mechanism below ground allows the aluminium deck to be flush to the ground, which in turn offers complete accessibility to wheelchair users. In addition the 7mm gap between the static ring and rotating ring eliminates finger traps and the lack of step makes this roundabout easy to use for toddlers and juniors alike.

The hand rail and rotating ring are available in any colour and are finished in shot-blast zinc spray and heavy polyester powder final colour coat. The seat is custom-made from heavy duty plastic.

The roundabout is competitively priced and destined to brighten up your play area and provide hours of fun.
